PAINT BY NUMBERS COURSE
New for 2012 we have developed a five day airbrushing course.
The course takes place in our workshop where you have one to one training and the use of all our equipment.
As a fully residential course (if required) you can expect to be working as late as needed to gain those skills.
The 3 day airbrushing section is an intense one. You are instructed in how to work the airbrush correctly and become confident with it, to get that muscle memory working.
There is little point attempting any artwork until you can master the airbrush without thought.
From the start you will learn by the ‘explanation, demonstration, imitation, practice’ technique, exercise after exercise, (Japanese headband and karate suit not required).
This is fun for us all, as there are many mistakes and much cursing!
After grasping the basics of airbrushing, you will now enjoy your new skills and learn more custom airbrushing techniques. Finally producing your first real piece of custom art work.

PAINTCOURSE:
First draw out the design then cut out the white features, airbrush them and then recover the white.

Cut out the black features and airbrush in the black parts of the design and cover.

The same process is repeated with the mouth and the ears on this design.

This time the inside of the mouth is airbrushed using the same techniques.

The face area is cut out and airbrushed with white.

A candy Brown is applied over the white emphasizing the shadows.

The rest of the body is now uncovered and airbrushed.

The body is then airbrushed in a brown darkening in the shadows.

The black lining is completed, lifting the design out.
