Our artist discussed ideas for this Custom Built Harley Davidson paint scheme with the owner as the current paintwork didn't work for the bike.
The customer had built his bike from scratch and wanted a new paint scheme that would stand out complementing the top quality build of the bike.
The Harley was originally painted in black with candy blue 'flame' effect stencil that gave the bike a blue look when the sun hit the paintwork. This was something the owner was not overly keen on.
The owner wanted a predominantly black bike with the fire effect but done subtlety.

Process:
The original bike paint work was a dull black with blue candy shapes on the tank.

The new paintwork incorporated real fire moving diagonally across the bike

The words Harley-Davidson were ghosted on one side and embedded in the fire on the other

The fenders were airbrushed to match the tank design giving a great effect.
